Team Flow: From Concept to Application

Herwith a link to the thesis in which team flow is conceptualized and scientifically tested in practice.

Research has shown that the psychological state of flow provides great benefits to people in many aspects of life, including work environments. So far, however, flow has been studied primarily at the individual level within work contexts, while complex tasks in professional organizations are often performed by teams. Studies of “team flow” are relatively scarce. Despite the recognized potential of optimal experiences (flow) to promote effectiveness, productivity, performance, skills and well-being, little research has been done on how teams can reap the benefits of flow, especially in the workplace.
