In the docuseries "Moments of Flow," we unravel the flow of extraordinary teams. This time the flow of the Solar Team Eindhoven. Solar Team Eindhoven's mission is to contribute to sustainable mobility. For this purpose, the first team was established in 2013. This team built the first solar car called Stella, becoming world champion in the World Solar Challenge in Australia.

In the docuseries “Moments of Flow,” we unravel the flow of extraordinary teams. This time the flow of the Solar Team Eindhoven. Solar Team Eindhoven’s mission is to contribute to sustainable mobility. For this purpose, the first team was established in 2013. This team built the first solar car called Stella, becoming world champion in the World Solar Challenge in Australia. The three student teams that followed matched this success and also became world champions in the Cruiser Class. In 2021, however, the team decided not to participate in the race in Australia. This was because they had already sufficiently proven to the industry that solar-powered driving is possible for a passenger vehicle. That’s why this team built a Sustaining House on Wheel. Simply put, a solar camper and toured Europe with it. In this episode, team manager Kjell Revenberg unravels the flow moments he and his teammates experienced during the two years he was an active member of Solar Team Eindhoven!

Developing and Testing the Team Flow Monitor (TFM).

In August 2019, Jef van den Hout and his research colleagues Josette Gevers, Orin Davis, and Mathieu Weggeman published the article “Developing and Testing the Team Flow Monitor. In doing so, they validated the Team Flow Monitor as an instrument to measure team flow and additionally tested whether team flow potentially leads to both individual and team outcomes. An interesting finding within this research is that the conditions for team flow together lead to better team performance, and the experience of the team flow moment leads to greater individual happiness.
