Buurtzorg Oirschot 2 in team flow

Teamflow in practice. In this Dutch-written team portrait, we share the real-life stories of Buurtzorgteam Oirschot 2. How do they try to work together as smoothly as possible, and why do they enjoy their work so much?

Buurtzorg Nederland finds it important that its employees go to work with a smile and that these employees can ‘be there’ for their clients in a way that meets the needs of the client. Buurtzorg Nederland does this excellently. For example, clients rate the delivered care with an average of 9.2 and also on employee satisfaction Buurtzorg scores extremely high since its establishment. Buurtzorg is a home care organization that provides care at home with small teams consisting of (district) nurses and district nursing staff. This involves nursing and personal care.

Flow Concepts regularly visits Neighborhood Care teams to unravel why cooperation runs so smoothly and why this team enjoys its work so much. The stories shared during these visits by the team members present are then compiled into a team portrait. After all, these stories are useful, important and deserve to be shared. This as mutual inspiration for other teams within healthcare, as appreciation for the good work that nurses and caretakers do every day, or to show what a beautiful and meaningful profession healthcare has to offer. The sector is struggling with a huge shortage of employees.

Reason enough to share these stories. Through this publication, we are happy to share the team practice of the Buurtzorgteam De Beerzen.

The Flow of ReaZun

Flow Concepts likes to test its theories on team flow in practice. In 2011, we held an interview with rapper ReaZun of Kyteman’s Hiphop Orchestra. This band had tremendous success in 2011. All concerts were sold out. They were at all the major festivals in the Netherlands. Newspapers described the band as a bouncing gang of optimal mutual chemistry. Reason enough to find out what was happening in this group.
