At one time or another in our lives, we have all been members of a team that was in a flow. The team functioned like an oiled machine, and afterwards, you went home with a big smile after every collaborative moment!
The opposite is also true. We all have experiences where teamwork did not progress at all. Or even worse where you were afraid to be part of it and even felt very unsafe!!!
In the Team Flow Theater, we will play with the conditions and experiential characteristics of team flow. In short presentations, Dr. Jef van den Hout makes clear how teams often get stuck and how teams can get into flow. Thus, he outlines an ideal image of an optimal collaborative climate. A group of actors expresses this in a specific situation, for example, a company, school, sports club, or music club, and asks the audience for help. The audience plays the role of “team flow coach” and connects with the moderator. Together, they coach the group of actors to flow!
Once the group of actors has been brought into flow, it is time to get the audience into flow as well. The audience is divided into teams that form an organization together. Within this organization, there must be a chain of cooperation. The teams must be interconnected, and everything and everyone must get into flow.
