Michiel, himself a member of the famous group Olodum for 20 years, brings the authentic samba reggae swing. The Team Flow Model is a beautiful theoretical model, but to actually achieve team flow together, we need to talk to Michiel Westerhuis. Within an hour, he knows like no other how to make a group of people experience flow together with his coaching qualities as a conductor of a Brazilian percussion group.

It has been 20 years since Michiel himself was part of the most famous Brazilian percussion group Olodum. Michiel had left for Brazil for his studies to learn the arts of this samba reggae group. On the first day he was there he met by chance one of the band leaders because he happened to hear Michiel playing in a public square in Salvador. The next day he was a member of Olodum and played many concerts with them as a fellow lead drummer. The icing on the cake was the shooting of the music video They don’t care about us with none other than Michael Jackson.
